The Institute for Women's Health welcomes inquiries from the media and offers its expertise for comment on new developments in women's health. Specifically, the Institute's physician leadership have expertise in the following areas.

• Thomas M. Hooton, M.D. – Urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection, HIV, and antimicrobial resistance
  
• Erin N. Marcus, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.P. – Health literacy, screening tests, preventive medicine, and general internal medicine related to women's health
