University of Miami Researchers: Apply for the Institute for Women’s Health Developmental Research Grant Program
The Institute for Women’s Health is pleased to announce support for three one-year pilot projects in the amount of $50,000 each, designed to encourage research studies targeting women’s health. The application deadline for the 2008 grant cycle is December 1, 2007.

Entitled, “Improving Health Begins with Understanding,” the Cigna Foundation’s first thought leadership forum on health literacy was held in Hartford, CT on October 11, 2007. Dr. Marcus spoke on “Practical Applications in Health Literacy” at the forum, which attracted business leaders and health literacy advocates from the Northeast and throughout the U.S.
